EDEN PRAIRIE, MN – Ryan Miske, a partner at Minnesota’s largest law firm and an Eden Prairie business owner, today announced that Doug Loon, president of the Minnesota Chamber of Commerce, has endorsed his campaign for Eden Prairie City Council.
“Ryan Miske’s experience as an Eden Prairie small business owner has given him the understanding to know what it will take to help our local economy grow and keep our community strong,” said Doug Loon. “As our local economy continues to recover from the damaging effects brought on by the COVID-19 pandemic, there is no doubt that Ryan will do what’s best for our community and ensure that Eden Prairie’s economy remains one of the best in the state.”
Loon is well known in the Eden Prairie community as being past chair of the Eden Prairie Community Foundation Board of Directors. His dedicated service includes working for the U.S. Senate where he was a senior staff member with service on the Commerce Committee and as acting staff director for the U.S. Senate Committee on Veteran’s Affairs. Currently, he holds the position of president of the Minnesota Chamber of Commerce, beginning in 2015.
“I want to personally thank Doug for his generous support of my campaign and for being one of Minnesota's top advocates for promoting a business friendly environment that keeps our economy strong,” said Ryan Miske. “His dedication to our community over the years is outstanding and I look forward to working with Doug to rebuild our local economy after the damaging effects of the COVID-19 pandemic.”
